Privacy Policy

HBD365 ("HBD365," "we," "us") is a birthday reminder service based in Mesa, Arizona. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we never do with it. Plain version first: we collect the birthdays you ask us to track so we can text you about them. We never sell your data, and we never contact the people on your list.
What we collect
- Your account info: your mobile number, email address, and name (if you give it).
- Your birthday list: names, birth dates, and optional notes you add about each person (for example, a favorite coffee shop or gift-card brand). This is your own address-book information, provided by you.
- Payment info: handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Apple Pay and Google Pay payments are processed by Stripe as well.
- Gift-card orders: the amount, brand, recipient name, and the phone number or email you choose for delivery, shared with our gift-card partner only to deliver your order.
- Basic technical data: device/browser type, pages visited, and text delivery logs (whether a reminder was delivered), so we can run and fix the service.
How we use it
- To send the birthday reminders you subscribed to, at the times you chose.
- To show your notes back to you inside those reminders and pre-fill gift-card details.
- To process subscriptions and gift-card purchases, and to provide support.
- To improve reliability (for example, fixing a reminder that failed to deliver).
Text messaging and your mobile information
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
- We share your mobile number only with the messaging and payment providers needed to operate the service (for example, our SMS provider and Stripe), and only to provide the service to you.
What we never do
- We never sell your personal information or your birthday list.
- We never text, email, or market to the people on your birthday list. Reminders go only to you, the subscriber. Gift cards you buy are delivered as coming from you, with your note.
- We do not use your list to advertise other products to you beyond your HBD365 service messages and account emails.
Sharing for operations
We share the minimum necessary with service providers who help us run HBD365: SMS delivery (Twilio), payments (Stripe), gift-card fulfillment (our gift-card partner), hosting, and transactional email. These providers may use the data only to provide their service to us. We may disclose information if required by law.
Your choices and rights
- Reply STOP to any text to end messages immediately; reply HELP for help.
- Email support@hbd365.co to access, correct, export, or delete your account and birthday list. Deleting your account deletes your list.
- Depending on your state, you may have additional privacy rights (including under California law); email us and we will honor them.
Data retention & security
We keep your list while your account is active. After cancellation we delete your birthday list within 30 days, except records we must keep for billing, tax, or legal reasons. We use industry-standard security measures, but no system is perfect.
Children
HBD365 is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes
We'll post changes here and, for material changes, notify subscribers by text or email before they take effect.
